Powersports Warranty

ATTURO TIRE LIMITED WARRANTY – Powersports

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Eligibility

This Warranty applies to the original purchaser of an Atturo Trail Blade SXS tire and is not transferable. Eligible tires must be purchased new and must be used on the vehicle for which they were initially installed. Additionally, all tires installed must be of an equivalent or greater load index than that specified by the vehicle manufacturer. The load index is the numerical designation imprinted on the tire’s sidewall and corresponds to a specific load-carrying capacity. (Marks such as “Load Range D” or “8 ply rating” are NOT a load index as they do not correspond to any specific load carrying capacity. These legacy markings may NOT be relied upon for accurate load capacity applications.) All tires must also be mounted on rims within the approved rim width of the tire. Each tire has a specific rim width range on which the tire can be mounted. Failure to follow rim width recommendations may result in poor tire performance or possible wheel and/or tire failure. All approved rim widths can be found in our catalogs and on www.atturo.com. For warranty exclusions, see “WHAT IS NOT COVERED?”

What Does This Warranty Cover?

This Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in tires purchased from authorized dealers or distributors and used on the vehicle for which they were initially installed. This Warranty is limited to replacing a defective tire plus any applicable taxes. During the first 2/32” of tread wear, it will be replaced with an equivalent new Atturo Trail Blade SXS Tire at no charge. When the tread is worn past the first 2/32”, if the product exhibits an eligible adjustable condition, it will be replaced on a pro-rated basis. You must present proof of purchase and be the original owner when requesting a replacement for your tire. You must pay for mounting, balancing, and any other additional charges, such as taxes or the acceptance of a higher-priced replacement tire. Any Atturo Trail Blade SXS tire that does not deliver satisfactory service due to a confirmed balance, out-of-round, or a ride complaint issue will be replaced without charge within the first 2/32nds of the tire’s tread life. After the first 2/32nds, the tire is not warrantable for these conditions.

What is Not Covered?

This Warranty does not cover the following:

  • Continued use while run flat or under a state of acute under-inflation.
  • Tire damage or irregular wear due to hazards on or off-road, including but not limited to puncture, cut, impact break, bulge, snag, stone drill, or collision.
  • Mounting or balancing charges.
  • Incidental, consequential, or punitive damages including, but not limited to: the cost of replacing or repairing other property which is damaged when a tire is defective, transportation to or from the dealer, distributor, or manufacturer to get warranty service, loss of time, loss of use, towing charges, bus fare or car rentals.
  • Repaired tires.
  • Cosmetic irregularities.
  • Tires used in racing or competition.
  • Tires subjected to overloading, improper mounting, use of an incorrect rim, purposeful abuse, or chemical contamination.
  • Tires patched, plugged, or repaired or into which liquid balancers or sealants have been introduced.

Who is Covered?

This Warranty covers only the original purchaser of the tire. Proof of purchase is required.

What is the Period of Coverage?

With the exceptions noted below, this Warranty remains in effect for TWO YEARS from the date of purchase. If the date of purchase cannot be determined, the tire’s manufacture date will be used as the warranty start date. The claim form must be submitted through the retailer’s supplying distributor for return to Atturo. If going through a dealer other than where the tire was purchased, they may require you to purchase the replacement tire(s) upfront as collateral for their business, as the final decision for approval lies with Atturo and not the dealer.

How to Obtain Service

To obtain warranty adjustments or warranty information, contact your Atturo Tire dealer or call Atturo Tires at 1-855-632-8031 or by email at info@atturo.com. Claims must be made within 30 days of discovery of irregularity. Claims are to be submitted by the Atturo Tire dealer. Atturo reserves the right to inspect all products before issuing adjustments.

What Will Void this Warranty?

This Warranty is void if:

  • The tire fails due to damage from improper inflation pressures, exceeding the maximum speed limit of the tire, overloading the tire beyond the maximum load capacity stated on the sidewall, or road hazards.
  • The tire is worn past the last 3/32nds of tread depth at any point on the tread contact surface.
  • The tire fails due to improper installation; trained service professionals should do all tire installations using proper tools and procedures.

STORAGE

Tires should be stored in a cool, dry place indoors, away from water and sources of heat and ozone, such as hot pipes and electric motors. Be sure that surfaces on which tires are stored are clean and free from grease, gasoline, or other substances which could deteriorate the rubber. Tires exposed to these materials and/or excessive heat during storage may be weakened and subject to sudden failure. Always inspect tires for signs of cracking or damage, and never use tires that have cracks or damage.

USED TIRES

Never purchase used tires! The previous usage may have damaged internal components. This damage may lead to sudden tire failure. ATTURO DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY STEMMING FROM THE USE OF A USED TIRE FOR LOSS OF TIME, USE, INCONVENIENCE, OR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
OTHER THAN EXPRESSLY STATED IN THIS WARRANTY, THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NO REPRESENTATIVE OF ATTURO HAS THE AUTHORITY TO MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR PROMISES EXCEPT AS STATED HERE.
Atturo Tires makes no expressed claims of expected tire wear. Variables that affect tire wear include driving conditions, load, and tire inflation pressure.

How Does State Law Relate to This Warranty?

Some states do not permit limitations on the implied warranty period and do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages; therefore, the above limitations or exclusions may not apply. This Warranty provides specific legal rights. Other rights may vary according to the state/province where the original purchaser is located.
